This year we worked closely with the Goethe Institut to offer a series of panels on study and work abroad opportunities, German companies in Ohio and employment opportunities, and a series of speakers including former students now out in the workforce and our guest speaker, German Vice Consul Andreas Goetz. Over 161 students, teachers and chaperones attended the event from seven High Schools (Pickerington, New Philadelphia, Big Walnut, Dublin Scioto, Beavercreek, Teays Valley, and Brecksville- Broadview Heights High Schools). Prizes and take-aways were provided by the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures, DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), Goethe Institute, and the German Consulate.
